Spring is in the air, and Women & Hi Tech is ready to launch you into high gear with a family-friendly networking event that's sure to be a blast! Women & Hi Tech recognizes that many of us are trying to balance work, social life, and family. So load the kids up and join us at Sky Zone for our Spring family-included networking event.
· Admission includes entry into the Women & Hi Tech networking event for the jumper and two parents/guardians, socks for the jumper, 1 hour of unlimited jumping, climbing, obstacle courses and more.
· Pizza and light refreshments will be provided. Additional food items may be purchased at your cost.
· Registration price is for one jumper and up to two non-jumping guardians. Want to bring more cheerleaders? No problem! Additional non-jumpers can contribute $8 each to enjoy the lunch spread.
The event is open to both Women & Hi Tech members and non-members. Space is limited, and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is non-refundable but is transferable.

Women & Hi Tech’s Networking with Family events are offered 2-3 times per year and provide an opportunity for working parents in STEM fields to shed any guilt and build resources towards professional and personal goals. Networking with Family events are presented by the Membership Engagement Committee, led by Women & Hi Tech Board Member Sahara Williams and facilitated by committee member Rebecca Leon.
Sahara Williams
Sahara Williams is an attorney focused on data privacy and cybersecurity law as well as general commercial transactions. Previously, she operated her own engineering and construction management firm for nine years and served as the executive director of a nonprofit equestrian learning center for youth for five years.
Sahara earned her J.D. from the IU McKinney School of Law. She graduated with a BS in Civil Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and earned a MS in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. She is an alumnus of the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series (Class XXXVII), the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series and the IBJ 2013 Forty Under 40 Class as well as a Soror of Alpha Kappa Alpha.
Rebecca Leon
Rebecca earned her B.S in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology (2006); M.S. in Biological Sciences (2008); and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience (2012) from Florida Atlantic University, West Palm Beach, FL. After graduation she completed a postdoctoral position at The Scripps Research Institute, Jupiter, Florida. Rebecca joined Eli Lilly & Company in 2014 where she has contributed to small molecule drug discovery efforts in diabetes, neuroscience, and oncology.
