Ignite Your Superpower: KIPP Indy Public School

Women & Hi Tech & Indy Women in Tech are partnering again to bring our Ignite Your Superpower program directly to middle schoolers. We will be delivering this event at KIPP Indy Public School on Friday, January 27, 2023.

Ignite Your Superpower (IYS) is an event dedicated to introducing STEM activities to middle school girls in a fun, interactive way. Students get to explore a variety of hands-on activities at booths designed to pique their interest in science, technology, engineering and math. Each group will be led by their very own “superhero” which is a woman in STEM. In addition to booths, the students will also get to hear from a panel of successful women who have chosen an area of STEM as their career. With college classes and board rooms experiencing an unbalanced ratio of men to women, Ignite Your Superpower gives girls the opportunity to learn and explore a career in STEM.
