Women & Hi Tech extends our deepest sympathies to all of our fellow citizens who have been affected by the coronavirus, and the scientists, healthcare workers, first responders, and other STEM professionals that are working on the frontlines to keep our country safe and healthy at this unprecedented time. In light of the impact of COVID-19, Women & Hi Tech is excited to be able to offer our standard in-person, luncheon-style Executive Women’s Forum (EWF) as a virtual Bring Your Own Lunch (BYOL)-style format for the April 30th event. Have a nice lunch, continue to practice social distancing and join us for this first ever Women & Hi Tech VIRTUAL EWF from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm on April 30, 2020. Hear from a group of accomplished women who will help us think differently about how best to proactively use feedback.

We’ve all received feedback on our performance. How often do you consider performance feedback a gift versus something to dread? Join us online to hear from a panel of experts in coaching, diversity, and human resource management on how to constructively accept and use feedback to enhance your career.

We will discuss topics such as how to validate what you’re hearing is sincere/genuine, how to use the feedback constructively, and how to process the feedback into actionable development plans. While most of us actually want feedback, we often question whether or not the feedback we receive is sincere/genuine, in our best interest, and/or something that can be acted on in a development plan. Hear how to validate and ensure advice/feedback is consistent and on point with your opportunities to improve, and how to convert feedback into a game plan for personal growth. This EWF builds upon previous EWF sessions where we have learned how to recognize and leverage our strengths, to put confidence into action in order to deliver better outcomes in a career path and with this EWF event, to not be afraid to leverage others to help you improve and grow.

Registration for this EWF is required in order to provide you with the final login instructions, but is free for all who want to participate, Women & Hi Tech members and non-members. A login/password will be sent to the email address entered for this registration approximately 48 hours before the event begins (i.e., on or around April 28, 2020). The login/password provided in that email will be required to enter the Webinar on April 30, 2020.
