2016 Purdue University Scholarship


  Sydney BoyceSydney Boyce, BS - Engineering, Purdue University

Sydney is a freshman pursuing a degree in Engineering at Purdue University. During High School, she completed a litany of AP courses, earned a place on the high honor roll each year, and was inducted as a member of the National Honor Society. She also attended the Gifted Education Resource Institute at Purdue University where she earned a scholarship as a result of her achievements.

Sydney was an Academic All State and All-American scholar athlete on the swim team, a member of the Student Council, and volunteered with Best Buddies Club, Traders Point Christian Church Kids Ministry, and the Special Olympics, among others.

Sydney’s grit and determination for achievement, her aptitude for STEM topics, high work ethic, emotional maturity, desire to give back and her love for STEM are what have made her this year’s recipient of the Purdue undergraduate scholarship.
